THRIVE Global Accelerator invites African agri-food startups

    November 15, 2023

African agri-food startups have the opportunity to apply for the THRIVE Global Accelerator program, which is specifically designed to support seed through Series A companies in the agri-food sector and prepare them for growth and scalability.

    1. The 12-week accelerator program focuses on companies across the agri-food value chain and places a strong emphasis on innovation that contributes to a sustainable future.
    2. The program consists of a combination of virtual and in-person programming. It begins with four months of virtual training and support, followed by two weeks of in-person support and networking.
    3. Selected ventures participating in the program gain access to corporates and farmers, as well as investment opportunities. They also receive expert mentorship and exposure for their brand.
    4. Applications for the THRIVE Global Accelerator are open until November 10, and the program is scheduled to run from March to August of the following year.
    5. This accelerator program provides a valuable platform for African agri-food startups to connect with industry leaders, expand their networks, and gain essential knowledge and resources to drive their businesses forward.
    6. By participating in the THRIVE Global Accelerator, agri-food startups have the opportunity to accelerate their growth, access potential funding, and contribute to the development of a sustainable and innovative agri-food ecosystem in Africa.
    7. Applications are open here until November 10, with the programme running from March until August next year.
