    June 8, 2023
    Premier's CEO, Frank Slootman

Premier, the parent company of cloud data platform Snowflake, has reported strong double-digit growth in its maiden financial results since going public in May 2023.

    1. The company delivered revenue of $529m, representing a year-on-year increase of 110%, and beat analysts’ expectations for the quarter.
    2. Premier’s strong performance was driven by the continued success of Snowflake, which has become a leading player in the cloud data management space.
    3. Snowflake’s revenue for the quarter was $500m, up 103% year-on-year, and the company added over 1,000 new customers during the period.
    4. Premier’s CEO, Frank Slootman, hailed the results as a “fantastic start” and expressed confidence in the company’s ability to maintain its momentum going forward.
    5. The strong results are likely to reinforce Snowflake’s position as a key player in the cloud data management market, and could pave the way for further growth and expansion in the coming years.
