Volkswagen has unveiled the highly anticipated third-generation 2024 Tiguan, showcasing a bold and futuristic design that is set to redefine the SUV segment.
- The new Tiguan is built on the updated MQB Evo platform, offering improved dimensions with a slightly increased length and enhanced luggage capacity, providing more space for both passengers and cargo.
- While not fully electric, the 2024 Tiguan introduces new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models with DC fast-charging capability and an impressive all-electric range of up to 100km, making it an eco-friendly choice for daily commuting.
- The range of powertrain options includes a 1.5-litre turbocharged Miller combustion petrol engine paired with an electric motor, available in 150kW and 200kW variants, as well as 48V mild hybrid models with output levels of 96kW and 110kW.
- Inside the Tiguan, drivers will be treated to a high-tech experience with a wrap-around design featuring a new digital instrument cluster, a 15-inch floating-effect central infotainment system, and a redesigned head-up display.
