    Johann Rupert’s Richemont has acquired a controlling stake in Italian luxury shoemaker Gianvito Rossi.

    1. Gianvito Rossi, the brand’s founder and creative director, retains a minority stake.
    2. Gianvito Rossi is one of the world’s leading luxury shoe companies.
    3. The brand’s shoes embody fine Italian craftsmanship and tradition.
    4. Gianvito Rossi said Richemont shares common values around quality, design and craftsmanship.
    5. The deal has no material financial impact for Richemont in FY2024.
    6. Gianvito Rossi’s performance will be reported under Richemont’s “other” business area.
    7. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
    8. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
