The ISUZU Foundation and IRONMAN 4 the Kidz continue their partnership to strengthen support for 13 registered Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) in the Eastern Cape.
- The collaboration is fueled by the R158,000 funds raised from the ISUZU IRONMAN African Championship, ISUZU IRONMAN 70.3 Nelson Mandela Bay, and ISUZU Corporate Triathlon Challenge events.
- The funds will be allocated towards crucial areas such as refurbishment of charity homes, transportation fees, nutritional support, sports activities, medical expenses, and capital projects.
- The support provided by the partnership ensures that registered NPOs can continue their vital work in providing essential services and opportunities for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Among the organizations receiving support are the Eastern Province Youth Care Centre, Khayalethu Youth Centre, Children’s Haven MTR Smit, Heatherbank, Salem Baby Centre, Oosterland Foundation, Daleview Foster Home, Siyakatala Child and Youth Centre, Eluxolweni Shelter, Barcelona Feeding Scheme, Kids of Tomorrow, Mahlasedi Foundation, and Early Birds Day Care.
- The collaboration reflects the commitment of the ISUZU Foundation and IRONMAN 4 the Kidz to the well-being and development of children in the Eastern Cape.
- The partnership has been actively involved in supporting local communities in Nelson Mandela Bay, providing educational resources and nutritional support, and this latest endeavor showcases their dedication to making a positive impact in the region.
